Michael Ray became a defensive backs football coach at Cypress Christian School in 2017. In his first year the team won their first State Championship in school history. The DBs had a total of 21 interceptions for the season. Michael Ray has two state championships in football and two state championships in track & field while coaching at Cypress Christian. In 2022 he was a part of Fort Bend Christian's first Division 2 Football State Championship in school history.
